This site is dedicated to Keith Thomas Falk

Keith Falk Memorial Fund Information

The Keith Falk Memorial Endowed Scholarship remembers the life of Keith Falk, a gifted student and talented Eastern Michigan University swimmer.  The scholarship assists current members of the EMU swim team, or fifth year seniors who were active on the team.  Quote from Taylor Haskins, fifth year senior, swimmer and close friend of Keith's and first recipient "Keith always wanted to help other people and it's good to know that he will still help someone each year through his scholarship".

If you are interested in donating please use the secure website: www.emufoundation.org and reference Keith Falk. Thank you

"If there is one thing I believe in,
it is that we are put on this rock to help others.
There is no greater good than that."

The following is from Keith's Mother, Sandy Falk:

My dearest Keith

It has been two years since you have left us--do you have any idea how much you are missed. We, your family, extended family and friends think about you daily. Your dad and I went to the MAC meet this weekend--we kow how excited you would have been if you could have swam in your home pool. It was good and sad being there. We can honestly say that it was great to see some of your team mates like Doak, Zerber, Alberts, Meekins and Tony.

Did you know that Kevin has a website in your name? I looked at it all the time. I wish more people would respond to it but hopefully it will get more action soon. Taylor had a good message on it but Derek said he wanted to keep his thoughts of you private.--Derek had a really great memorial of you that we have on tape.
I hope you are happy with the scholarship that we set up in your name. We just thought this is what you would want to help others.

Keith, I just miss you so much and I just wish I could have done things different for you before you died, I am sure you know what I am talking about. I do want to thank you you for coming that Sunday night and I wish I could have had the leftovers that you wanted

WE ALL LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU Dad, Mom. Mandi, Niciki Grandma and the two cats--Addie(she knows when you are around) and Mort

The following is from Keith's friend Megan:

I consider Keith my best friend on the EMU swim team. Of everyone I got to know at EMU, he was my favorite person. He always had a cheerful personality and always made me laugh. I will never forget the time he borrowed my collars and chains and dressed up goth for halloween. I will never forget going to swimmer parties and he would be the first person I found to hang out with. After he died I never felt the same at those parties because I was always looking to see him there. I will never forget hanging out and going to the Electronic Music Fesitval in Detroit with him. He was the only friend that wanted to go with me. I will never forget those times and Keith is a friend that I will never forget.

The following is from Keith's friend James:

Let me tell you about Keith Falk. He was and still is the most selfless person I have ever encountered. Always sllow to anger, Keith gave alot for his friends, and expected little or nothing in return. He was everybody's pal, smiling, joking, and having a good time. Even when things were down, he made an attempt to see the other side of the coin. To this day, he continues to put others before himself. Let us all relfect on the example he set by his life and afterlife. If we could all find that piece of him inside us, maybe tomorrow wont seem so bad. I wish we'd all been ready.

James Peace,

Friend of Keith

The following is from Keith's friends the Meekins Family:

Dear Keith,

Just wanted to let you know how much the Meekins family misses you. We think of you and your family quite often. It was great seeing your mom and dad at the Mac Meet last weekend. I am sure it was hard for them at times. The boys did great. You would have been proud. I came across a picture of you and Ryan at a pizza eating contest your freshman year and I thought it would be good to add to your web page. You and Ryan had some good times at those Clarenceville Swim meets. We miss you.

Love, the Meekins

Currently, I've been working on converting Keith's Autobiography
to be available online, for right now, all I have is .pdf file of the
document, I'll be converting the hard copy t
o a word document
just as soon as I have time, thanks for hanging in there.

You may download Keiths Autobiography Here,
caution, it's a large file at 2.5mb

I'm beginning a page deticated entirely to Keiths Friends and Family, on this page will be pictures of Keith and his friend and perhaps some words they would like to include. Through these pages, I hope that Keiths friends will have a chance to connect with others that care for Keith and are willing to come forward with their feelings. I will attempt to include contact information in case you would like to contact them.

Keiths friend Taylor Haskins has already written something reguarding his friend. You may find Taylor's page here.

I hope this site has helped you understand how important Keith was, and always will be in the hearts of so many.
Through this site I envision some of those people connecting and sharing what they remember about Keith.
Thanks for visiting
